Getting Started with Mandraki
Creating Your Account
-
Navigate to app.mandraki.cloud in your web browser. Mandraki supports all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
-
Click Sign Up and enter your email address, display name, and a strong password.
-
If your organisation uses invite-only registration, you will need to enter the invite code provided by your administrator.
-
If your email domain has been claimed by an organisation, you will be automatically added to that organisation after registration. Otherwise, a personal organisation will be created for you.
-
If your organisation has configured single sign-on (SSO), Mandraki will detect this from your email domain after you enter it on the sign-in screen and redirect you to your company’s identity provider automatically — no manual “Sign in with SSO” step is required. SSO is configured by your administrator at the organisation level; if it isn’t set up yet, you’ll sign in with your Mandraki password.
Navigating the Interface
Once logged in, you will see the main application layout.
- On desktop and tablet, a sidebar on the left provides access to your rooms, direct messages, and settings.
- On mobile, a bottom tab bar gives you quick access to Home, Chat, Calendar, Tasks, and People. On Business plans, Mail and Drive also appear in the tab bar.
The Home screen shows your active rooms and recent conversations. Each room represents a persistent space where your team can meet, chat, and share files.
Joining an Organisation
If you were not automatically added to an organisation during registration, you can join one in two ways:
- By invitation. An organisation administrator sends you an invite. Accept the invite from your email or from the notifications area in the app.
- By request. If your organisation has enabled open joining, you can search for it and request access.
You can belong to multiple organisations and switch between them from the user menu. Each organisation has its own rooms, members, and settings.
Your First Call
- Open a room or start a direct message with a colleague.
- Click the Call button to start a video call.
- Grant browser permissions for your camera and microphone when prompted.
- Use the controls at the bottom of the call screen to toggle your microphone, camera, or screen sharing.
- Click Leave to end your participation in the call.
For more detail on call features, see Starting a Video Call.
