About Mandraki
Mandraki is a sovereign enterprise collaboration platform built for organisations that take data residency and security seriously. We provide group video calls, screen sharing, messaging, and recording — all hosted within the European Union on European hyperscale infrastructure.
Our mission
European organisations should not have to choose between powerful collaboration tools and data sovereignty. Mandraki exists to deliver both, without compromise.
We believe that critical business communications deserve infrastructure that respects European values: privacy, data protection, and digital sovereignty. Every byte of data processed by Mandraki stays within EU borders, on infrastructure owned and operated by Europeans.
Mandraki AB
Mandraki is developed and operated by Mandraki AB, a privately-held company registered in Stockholm, Sweden. ("AB" is the standard Swedish suffix for an Aktiebolag — a limited company.) The company is independently held by its founders, headquartered in the EU, with no US parent, no foreign holding structure, and no subsidiary relationship that could subject Mandraki to non-EU jurisdiction.
Fully European, fully independent
Mandraki is 100% European-owned and operated. The entire codebase, infrastructure, and organisation are completely independent from any non-EU entity. There are no American cloud dependencies, no foreign shareholders, and no third-country data transfers. From the first line of code to the last byte of storage, everything is under European control and governed exclusively by European law.
Built on European hyperscale infrastructure
Mandraki runs exclusively on a European-owned and -operated hyperscaler that gives us the compute, storage, and networking scale we need without leaving EU jurisdiction. No dependencies on non-EU cloud providers, no exposure to the US CLOUD Act or similar extraterritorial legislation, and no foreign government access to your data.
Architecture & technical overview
How Mandraki is built — the protocols, infrastructure, and security primitives behind every feature.
Open protocols
Messaging is designed around MLS (RFC 9420) for end-to-end encryption with future-proof group key agreement. Media uses SFrame (RFC 9605) for selective frame encryption. Real-time video and audio run over WebRTC, with mediasoup acting as a low-latency selective forwarding unit for group calls.

Hosted on a European hyperscaler that delivers the scale our workloads require, with all compute, storage, and network transit happening within EU borders. We never replicate or back up data outside the European Union.

Three-layer envelope encryption: data keys wrap content, key-encryption keys wrap data keys, and a master key wraps KEKs. Customers can bring their own master keys with rotation support — no downtime, no service interruption.

GDPR-aligned by design: EU data residency, encryption, and audit logging engineered for standard regulatory frameworks. Our privacy policy sets out how personal data is collected, used and retained. Data subject rights — access, portability, and erasure — are implemented across every surface.
